Mrs. Jennie E. Jordon, 59, passed away this morning at Henrotin Hospital, Chicago, Ill., after an illness of three weeks. She was born east of Lake Maxinkuchee May 4, 1896, and spent all of her life in the community. Survivors include her husband, Delbert; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Schall of Culver, Mrs. Fannie Masters of Monterey, and Mrs. Wilma Zehner of Knox; two brothers, James Calhoun of Monterey and Loy Calhoun of Delong. Mrs. Jordon was a member of the Culver Methodist Church where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Kendall Sands officiating. Burial will be in Culver Cemetery. Friends may call at the Jordon residence, S. Main Street. Easterday Funeral Home is in charge.
