Loy F. CALHOUN, 66, Delong, died at 1:55 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial hospital in South Bend following an extended illness. He was born June 30, 1908, in Marshall county to Franklin and Edith BUTCHER CALHOUN. His marriage was in February, 1930 to Vera MONESMITH. She survives. He was a retired employee of the Bendix company in South Bend and had resided in Delong since 1941, moving from Monterey. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Sharren) HIGHT, Lakeville; one brother, James CALHOUN, Monterey; two sisters, Mrs. William (Frances) MASTER, Monterey, and Mrs. Wilma BANASIAK, Knox. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Bonine funeral home in Culver. The Rev. Philip LUTZ will officiate. Burial will be in the Monterey I.O.O.F. cemetry. Friends may call at the funeral home.
