PATTISON - Arthur William Lofton, 63, of Pattison, died May 22, 1992, in Franklin County.
Services were at 4 p.m. Sunday at Ramah Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wiley Reid and the Rev. Pat Lofton officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Lofton was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Lincoln County. He was the son of the late Luke Lofton and Beulah Lofton Lofton.
He was a retired welder, a Baptist and a member of the Moose Lodge in Natchez.
He also was preceded in death by one brother, Troy Lofton; and one daughter, Christy Darlene Lofton.
He is survived by two sons, Arthur "Chip" Lofton of Vicksburg and Tracy Joe Lofton of Brookhaven; seven daughters, Gena Kaye Watts and Cynthia Gail Ezell, both of Brookhaven; Lisa Gaye Page of Satartia; Julia Marie Grantham of Hazlehurst; Colleen Lofton and Joan Moriaco, both of Seattle, and Beth Recknegal of Louisville, Ky.; two brothers, Edward Lofton, Sherrill Lofton and Loyd Lofton, all of Smithdale; four sisters, Mabel Stancil of Smithdale, Reba Nell Pevey of Morton, Joyce Smith of Brookhaven and Dot Smith of Bogue Chitto; and 15 grandchildren.
