Cecil Richmond, 74, of Denver City, Texas, a former resident of Soddy, Tennessee, died in Denver City Hospital Saturday morning. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Burnside, Texas, and Mrs. Margie Pemberton, South Africa; two sisters, Mrs. Nelle Carter, Colorado and Miss Iva Richmond, Soddy; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the chapel of the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Robert Simpson. Internment will follow in the Tyner Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be C.W. Branum, Roland Branum, Noland Branum, Bill Jett, Charlie Garstron and George Howard Smith. The body will remain at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Williamson and Sons, Hwy. 27, Soddy-Daisy.
