Cheliva Chipman Rites Sunday

Services for Mrs. Willard(Chelvia)Chipman, 35, Boyne City, will be 2 p.m. Sunday from the Stackus Funeral Home. Rev. John Beard and Rev. William Smith of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Maplelawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Chipman died yesterday at Little Traverse Hospital following surgery.

She was born Chelvia Morris, December 29, 1937 in Bay City and had lived in Petoskey before marrying Willard Chipman in Lansing, August 25, 1956. They made their home in Boyne City.

She was a member of the Boyne City First Baptist Church and the Evangeline Chapter No. 95 OES. She had attended Petoskey High School and was a former employee of Circuit Control and Boyne Products.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Willard M., 16 and Phillip, nine; one daughter, Kristine Kay, 14, all at home; her mother, Mrs. Ella M. Canell, of Petoskey; two brothers, Kenneth Morris, of Petoskey and Robert Morris of Harbor Springs and four sisters, Mrs. Gordan(Lorraine) Rose, of Grand Rapids and Mrs. John(Jeanne) Gokee, Mrs. Dennie(Karen)Mason and Carol Buchin, all of Ypsilanti and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Louise Muir, of Bay City.
