Willard Mark Chipman,30, of Boyne City, died Dec. 8, 1987, at Little Traverse Division, Northern Michigan Hospitals,
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 12, at the Stackus Funeral Home, Boyne City. The Rev. Milton Walls Jr. of Boyne City First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Boyne City.
Mr. Chipman was born Sept. 3, 1957, in Petoskey, the son of Willard J. and Chelvia Jean Morris Chipman. He lived all his life in Northern Michigan and graduated form Boyne City High School in 1975.
Mr. Chipman spent two years in the U.S. armed forces and then was affiliated with his father in the operation and management of Chipman Plumbing and Heating Co. in Boyne City.
In 1980, he married Terry Lorton in Boyne City.
Survivors include: his wife; two sons, Stewart Curtis Chipman of Boyne City and Willard James Chipman of Petoskey; his parents, Mr.and Mrs. Willard J. Chipman of Boyne City; one brother, Phillip Chipman of Atlanta, Ga. and a stepbrother, Jerry Phenney of Kalamazoo; one sister, Mrs. Brian(Kristne)Walker of Leesville, La.; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Allie Chipman of Boyne City; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Kenneth(Ella) Morris of Petoskey.
