Paul E. Louey

Paul E. Louey, 86, of 10 Locust Drive, Littlestown, formerly of 640 E. Middle St., Hanover, died this morning at his home. He was the husband of Bertha Runk Louey.
Born in Carroll County, Md., he was the son of the late John T. and Sarah Bankert Louey.
He was a member of God's Missionary Church in Hanover, and of Hanover Fire Co. No. 1. Before his retirement, he had been employed as a machinist for Revonah Spinning Mills, Hanover.
Also surviving are four sons, Kenneth E. Louey and Laverne P. Louey, both of Littlestown; Richard R. Louey, Hanover, and Irvin L. Louey, Brandon, Miss.; five daughters, Mrs. Ruth Ditzler, Littlestown; Mrs. Mildred Kopp, Hanover; Mrs. Mary Hall, Flagstaff, Ariz.; Mrs. Catherine Welsh, Spring Grove, and Mrs. Naomi DeGroft, Uniontown, Md.; 34 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Lester Louey, Hanover; Raymond Louey, York, and John Louey, Stewartstown.
The service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Littles' Funeral Home with the Rev. Alvin R. Shaffer officiating. Burial will be in Meadow Branch Cemetery, near Westminster, Md. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening.
