Turlock, California ----- Rosetta M. Stubbs, 88, died yesterday in a Sacramento rest home after a short illness.
A native of Erie, Pa., she lived in Kansas until she moved to the Denair area in 1914 where her husband the late Rev. Zimri Stubbs, was pastor of the Denair Friends Church. She settled in Turlock in 1918, moving to Sacramento a year and a half ago.
She Is survives by three daughters, Ethel Moon of Wichita, Kan., Elsie E. Bennett of Modesto and Freda Benard of Sacramento; nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great-treat-grandchildren.
Services are pending on the Norton Mortuary.
