BOSCOBEL - Lena Rachel Watters, age 75, died on Thursday, August I, 1985, at her home. She was born on January 5, 1910, in Adams County, Wisconsin, to William and Rozean (Saubert) Bankes.
She was married July 19, 1925, to Daniel Watters. He preceded her in death December 17, 1953. They had lived in the area most of their lives. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Roger (Margie) Messling of Seneca, Mrs. Amy Yapp of Muscoda, and Mrs. Howard (Rosemary) Wayne of Boscobel; two sons, Donald of Boscobel, and Francis of Richland Center; 26 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alma Lee of Lacrosse. Four sons preceded her in death, Everett, Faye, Lawrence, and Paul. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 1985, at 1 p.m., at the ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH, Boscobel. Pastor Lance Bifulk will officiate. Burial will be in the Haskins Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, from 4-8 p.m., at the BEEMAN FUNERAL HOME, Boscobel, and on Saturday, at the church, from noon until the time of services.
