BOSCOBEL — Fay R. Watters, age 52, died on Thursday afternoon, January 13, 1983, at the Boscobel Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 9,1930, in Crawford County, Wisconsin, to Daniel and Lena Bankes Watters. He was married on January 20, 1955, to Marjorie Foley. They lived in Boscobel for the last 21 years, and he was employed by the John Deere Company In Dubuque, Iowa. He was a member of the Boscobel American Legion. Mr. Watters is survived by his wife, Marjorie; a daughter, Mrs. Rex (Diane) Brandes of Boscobel; four sons, Dan and Duane, both of Fennlmore, and Doug and Dennis, both of Boscobel; eight  grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Lena Watters of Boscobel; three sisters, Mrs. Les (Amy) Yapp of Highland, Mrs. Howard (Rosemary) Wayne of Boscobel and Mrs. Roger (Marge) Messling of Seneca; and two brothers, Donald of Boscobel, and Francis of Richland Center. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the BEEMAN FUNERAL HOME of Boscobel. Father Pat Doherty will officiate, with burial In the Boscobel
Cemetery. Graveside,.services will be conducted by the Boscobel American Legion and VFW Posts. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. on Friday-at the Beeman Funeral Home, Boscobel.
