GAYS MILLS Alf Bankes, age 64, died Fridav night July 28, 1978 at the La Crosse Lutheran Hospital. He was a driver tor Madison Newspapers, Inc. Surviving are two sisters, Lena Watters of Boscobel, and Mrs. Alma Lee, La Crosse, one sister-in-law, Ester Bankes, Bell Center; also many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday July 31 at 11.00 a.m. at the MARTIN-BEEMAN FUNERAL HOME, Gays Mills. Pastor Laurel Kast officiating. Burial will be in the Gays Mills Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the MARTIN-BEEMAN FUNERAL HOME.
