At high noon last Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Batzka occurred the marriage of their daughter, Helen, to Frank Rosch of Chicago. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Karl Rest, Pastor of the St. Luke's Evangelical and Reformed Church, and was attended by a few close relatives and friends of the bride and groom. A wedding dinner was served immediately after the ceremony. The following relatives and guests participating: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rosch, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Taft, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Newman of Chicago; Rev. Karl Rest and Victor Reinke of Wanatah; Mr. and Mrs. John Batzka and daughters, June and Edith of La Crosse and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Batzka and daughter, Edna, and Robert Batzka and son, Norman, of San Pierre. Helen is a graduate of the San Pierre High School and is popular in the younger set of this community. The groom is the son of Mrs. Helen Rosch of Long Prairie, Minn., and has been employed by in Chicago for some time where he met his bride. Mr. and Mrs. Rosch will make their home in Chicago where both are now employed.

SAN PIERRE -- Helen M. Rosch, 80, of Washington Street, died at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday in Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso. Mrs. Rosch was born March 23, 1911, in San Pierre. On Nov. 19, 1939, in San Pierre, she married Frank G. Rosch. He died in 1974. Surviving are five nieces and a nephew. She was a member of St. Luke United Church of Christ.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in San Pierre Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at O'Donnell Funeral Home, North Judson. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
