She married George Faeth March 31, 1874 at the home of her mother Margaret (Abel) Fett in Lee Co, Iowa.

OBITUARY Katherine Faeth; West Point Lee Co. Iowa Wed. June 20, 1900, Weekly Democrat Newspaper, West Point twp., Lee Co., Iowa. The obituary is in the Fort Madison paper.
June 14, 1900 Thursday morning occurred the death of Katherine Faeth after a long and painful illness. Three daughters and two sons are left to mourn their loss (no names); also an aged father, Casper Fett, six brothers, Peter, Jacob, Theodore, David, Henry and John and one sister, Mrs John (Elizabeth) Billman. The funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Sat. Morning with Rev. S.H. Beach and Rev. H. Sayer officiating. The family has the sympathy of their many friends.
