Lorella Marie Keys Chaney, 76, died in a Vernon hospital following a lengthy illness. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Paducah Cemetery with the Rev. Neal Owens, pastor of the Church of God, officiation. Interment will be under direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Chaney was born March 26, 1923, in Ofuskagee, Okla., daughter of the late Henry and Rosie Fisher-Keys. She married John Earick Chaney on April 12, 1939, in Paducah. He preceded her in death in 1967. A resident of Wilbarger County since 1953, she attended the Church of God in Vernon; Survivors include two daughters, Lenora (Len) Chaney Steinman of Vernon and Patricia Chaney Keel of McMinnville,Tenn.; a son, J.E. Chaney of Vernon; three step-children;two sisters, Juanita Chaney of Paducah and Vivian Sadoy of California; four half-sisters;two half-brothers; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, two grandchildren and a brother. The family will be at the funeral home in Vernon from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.
