Clara Edith, eight-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Adkinson, passed away Monday evening from a relapse of the flu. She attended school until Friday when it became necessary to remain at home where she was ably cared for by her mother until the time of her death. Since her birth she has been under a doctor's care most of the time.

Clara Edith Adkinson was born in Keya Paha County, Nebraska, June 7, 1926, and passed away at the home of her parents February 7, 1935, at the age of eight years, seven months and twenty-seven days.

She leaves to mourn her departure, besides her parents, three sisters, Ruth, Dorothy, and Lucile; three brothers, LeRoy, Harold, and Lloyd; also many friends and playmates. She was known to all by her sweet face and happy disposition.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Methodist Church in Springview with the pastor, Rev. C.G. Garrison officiating. Interment was made in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
