Mrs. Anna Susan Benda, 68, of Memphis, died suddenly at 5:30 o'clock, Monday afternoon, October 10, from a heart attack in a neighbor's yard.
Mrs. Benda was born August 3, 1892, in Kansas, daughter of William and Ida Kelly. She married Clarence H. Benda April 23, 1913. He preceded her in death in 1925.
Surviving are three sons, Roy of Huntley, Illinois; Eston of Atlanta, Missouri; and Glen of Fort Madison, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. Merrill Ingold, LaPlata and Mrs. Paul Rader, Sr. of Memphis; five brothers; one sister; 24 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 13, at 2 p.m., at the Memphis Baptist Church with the Rev. Vasten E. Zumwalt officiating. Burial was in the Combs Cemetery at Luray.
