ALVIN ALBERTHAL
FREDERICKSBURG --- Alvin H. Alberthal, 96, died at 6:15 p.m. Friday at Brown's Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church with burial in Fredericksburg City Cemetery, directed by Beckmann Funeral Home.
Alberthal was born Jan. 12, 1890 in Gillespie County. He was a retired carpenter and had been a longtime resident of Fredericksburg. He was a Lutheran.
Survivors include his wife, Emilie Alberthal of Fredericksburg; three daughters, Mrs. Gus (Ruby) Friedrich of Cherry Mountain Community, Mrs. Kenneth Means of Austin and Irene Kneese of Lovington, N.M.; two sisters, Elna Schneider of San Antonio and Bessie Friedrich of Fredericksburg; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
