Antonia "Tony" (Chvatal) Jaros was born to her loving caring parents Anton Joseph and Mary (Mahlik) Chvatal on Saturday June 29, 1889 at Prague, Saunders County Nebraska. My research turn up little on her childhood, she did attend elementary rural school in the Prague area. Tony was united in marriage to Joe Jaros on Tuesday January 12, 1915 at St. John's Catholic Church at Prague, the couple was blessed with three daughters over the years of their marriage. Tony and Joe raised their family on the farm they farmed. Sadly Tony passed on Saturday May 12, 1984 at North Bend, Dodge County. Tony was 94 years, 10 months, 13 days of age which does not include her last day, she lived a total of 34,650 days. Tony's rosary was recited at the Kucera-Rozanek Chapel on Tuesday evening May 15, 1984. Tony's Mass of the Resurrection was held at the St. Anthony's Catholic at Bruno, Butler County on Wednesday May 16, 1984 at 10a with the Father Daniel Pohl officiating. Tony was interred in the St. Peter and Paul Cemetery at Abie, Butler County. Tony's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory.
