Earl D. Uhl

Earl D. Uhl, 98, Route 2, Williamstown, died Saturday at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Wood County, a son of the late Charles and Leona Hazelrigg Uhl. He was retired from the West Penn and City Lines of Parkersburg and was a member of the People's Church in Boaz.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Irene Uhl, and five brothers.

He is survived by two sons, Louis D. Uhl of Parkersburg and Harold E. Uhl of Williamstown; three daughters, Bertha Maddox, Marie Sands and Mable Chancelor, all of Williamstown; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; one brother. Rondell Uhl of Bartlesville, Okl., and one lister Leona Parish of Williamstown.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the People's Church with the Rev. John Nessleroad officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today and one hour before services Monday at the McClure Schaffer Funeral Home, Marietta.
