She was the daughter of Samuel H. Edlin and Anna Adams. She married Hiram Walker Huffman on Jun. 15, 1862 in Boone County, IN and had 13 children.

DIED NEAR JAMESTOWN

Expired Last Night At Age Of 78 Years
Funeral Sunday Afternoon.

Mrs. Elizabeth Huffman aged 78 years and 29 days, died at the home of John Owens, near Jamestown, at 8:20 o'clock last night. the cause of death was a brorehial hemorrhage. She had been ill for some time. She was born in Montgomery County July 1, 1842. She was married in 1862 in Boone County to Hiram W. Huffman, who died in 1912.

Ten children are living: John H.; Ora; Ira; Jesse; Other Ann Owens; Effie Sloan; and Etta Hinton, all of this county and Louisa Parker, of Piggott, Ark.; and Ott Huffman, of Dana, Ind. Three children are deceased. Three brothers: John and Charles Edlin, of this county and Samuel Edlin, of Marion County, survive.

Deceased was a member of the Methodist Protestant Church at Milledgeville. She had lived in Montgomery and Boone Counties practically all of her life with the exception of a short residence in Iowa. The funeral will be held at Milledgeville at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, Rev. J. S. Clawson officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
