Ernest A. Hill, 71, of 2064 Chesnee Highway, died 8 p.m. Saturday General Hospital after long illness.
Son of late William and Louanna Hill, retired textile worker, Member Liberty Methodist Church.
Survivors: wife, Mrs. Bertha Mae Powell Hill; daughter, Mrs. John Link Sr., Spartanburg; sons, Leonard N., Hugh Mac Hill, both Spartanburg; sisters, Mrs. Charles Sims, Spartanburg, Mrs. Willie Penland, Laurens; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
