Mrs. Essie Estelle Hill Sims, 81, of Route 1, widow of the Rev. Charles H. Sims, died Sunday morning, a Hickory hospital.
Daughter of the late Charles William and Annie Lou Curry Hill; member Drayton Mill Baptist Church.
Surviving, daughter, Mrs. Stella Threatt of Spartanburg; sons, Charles of Spartanburg and the Rev. Samuel Sims of Hickory; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Services 3 Tuesday, Drayton Mill Baptist Church, the Revs. Heyward Cromer, Jeta Baker; burial Sunset Memorial Park.
Pallbearers: Gary Sims, B. Easler, Tommy Hollifield, William O'Shields, Dewey Penland, Ronnie Tinsley.
Family to recieve friends, J. F. Floyd Mortuary, 7-9 tonight.
