Inez Brown. M. resident of St. Francis Nursing Home in Breckenndge. formerly of Rothsay, died Saturday. Jan. 25, at the nursing home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday. Jan. 31. at Glende-Johnson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel in Fergus Falls. Rev. Glenn Dewey will officiate amd burial will be in Burau Cemetery Foxhome.
One of 11 children of Otto and Caroline Bachmann Max, she was born May 29. 1917 in Akron Township of Wilkin County. She attended Larson School District #28 in Akron Township.
On Dec 31. 1955, she and Wendell Brown were married. They lived on her family farm and she helped in the farm operation while her husband worked in the area. Her husband died in January of 1965. She continued to reside on the farm until entering Broen Memorial Home in 1973. She later transferred to St. Francis Nursing Home.
Survivors include two sisters, Cora Kramer of Elk Rjver and Mrs. Adolph (Ruby) Strande of Campbell: and two brothers. Otto of Rothsay and Richard of Salem, Ore. Visitation will be all day Thursday until 9 p.m. and resume Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
