Otto E. Max, 90, formerly of Rothsay, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at St. Catherine's Nursing Home in Wahpeton. He was born March 11, 1908, on the home farm in Akron Township near Rothsay, to Otto and Caroline (Bachman) Max. He attended school at District 28 in Akron Township. He farmed with his brother, John. After John's death, he continued to live on the home farm for a number of years before becoming a resident of St. Catherine's Nursing Home in Wahpeton.
He enjoyed and loved children and also enjoyed horses.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and five sisters.
Visitation: Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home
Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Glende-Johnson-Nelson and Nilson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls
