Mrs. Frances Leffler, daughter of Solomon Wilkinson, died at the home of her brother, Sylvester Wilkinson, on Saturday, Feb. 23, 1889.
She was born in Ross County, Ohio, June 30, 1829, and came to Illinois in November, 1849. She was married in December of the same year and six weeks later was left a widow. She was the mother of the late John Leffler, whose daughter was left in her care and who survives her. Short funeral services were held at the house and the regular services were held in the M. E. Church at Wyoming, conducted by the Rev. Richard Crewes of the Toulon M. E. Church at Wyoming, at 1 o’clock on Monday of this week, after which the remains were laid to rest in the family lot in the Wyoming Cemetery.
