Kathryn Lucille Corbett, 88, of South Bend formerly of Windsor Ave. where she lived over 50 years passed away Thursday morning in Morningside Nursing Ctr.

Born December 9, 1922 in Monterey, IN, to the late Valentine and Mabel (Betterling) Reinhold. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Lowell Reinhold. On December 27, 1941 in Lieters Ford, IN she married Warren M. Corbett who died in 1989.

She is survived by daughters, Kathleen Kelsey (Robert) of Big Piney, Wy, Julie Knepp of Avon, IN; son, Michael Corbett (Norma) of Walkerton, IN; eight grandchildren, Larry (Jennifer) Corbett, Gerry (Kelly) Corbett, Randy (Rhonda) Corbett, Bruce (Anna) Corbett, Jason (Jennifer) Knepp, Michele (Steve) Purvis, Donald (Michelle) Kelsey, Thomas (Megan) Kelsey; Ten great-grandchildren, Brandon Corbett, Darren, Emily and Christine Corbett, Brent Corbett, Wesley Knepp, Bruce Purvis, Megan and Kyle Kelsey and Andrew Purvis; one great-great grandchild, Riley Benhart; two sisters Elsie Tuley of Rolling Prairie, Judith (Howard) Carlisle of Argos; four brothers, Valentine (Esther) Reinhold, jr. of Monterey, Byron (Nancy) Reinhold of Rolling Prairie, Hubert (Marie) Reinhold of Goshen and David (Vivian) Reinhold of Kewanna.

Kathryn worked as a sales associate for K-Mart on S. Michigan St. for 16 years. She was a member of Lydick United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Was a member of the Warren Township Fire Department Auxiliary, The Warren Township PTA and The home Economic club of Warren Township. Her family was #1 in her life; she was a great loving Mother, grand Mother and great grandmother. She was the best baker and friend to those who loved her.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday May 24th in the Lydick United Methodist Church 26510 W. Edison Rd. with Pastor James Toole officiating and burial will follow in highland Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home 521 N. William St.
