Mike lived in the area for over 55 years coming from South Bend. He married the love of his life, the late Norma (Holsinger) on November 25, 1961 in Lydick, IN. Mike was a retired Carpenter, working through the IKORCC Local #413 in South Bend. He also thoroughly enjoyed fishing and camping, and was a past member of the Walkerton Volunteer Fire Department.
Mike is survived by two sons Jerry (Kelli) Corbett of South Bend and Bruce Corbett of Walkerton; six grandchildren Brent Corbett, Darren Corbett, Emily Corbett, Brandon Corbett, Christine Corbett, and Coltten Corbett; several great grandchildren; and two sisters Julie Knepp of Indianapolis and Kathy (Bob) Kelsey of Monterey, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; and two sons Larry Corbett and Randy Corbett.
It was Mike's wishes to be cremated upon his passing, which will be honored. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date so Mike can be reunited with his loving wife Norma.
