MIRANDA CLARK-MrsKing: Osakis; died at home Thursday [9-7]after a lingering illness of over 1yrs duration. The immediate cause of death was carcinoma. She had been a great sufferer during the last few months of her illness & the end came as a relief. MrsClark was a dau of Mr&Mrs William Betts & was born at CedarLake MN on 1 Jan 1869. She married King Clark in 1885 & removed to Osakis abt 25yrs ago.
Besides her husband, she leaves 5 children: Hubert, Lucian, Bernice, Myrtle & MrsA Baily-all Osakis; 5 bros: John, William & Walter Betts-Osakis; George Betts-Minneapolis; Samuel Betts-Brainerd & 2 sis: MrsWilliam Payne & MrsSusie Clark-Osakis.
The funeral was held Saturday from the home, Rev Handyside-Presbyterian Church, officiated. Interment was made in Lakeside Cem-Osakis.
