Berlinda Bernetta Jane Bridges Jennings

Berlinda Bernetta Jane Bridges was a daughter of John Q. Bridges and Martha A. E. Rutherford Bridges. She married Thomas Archer 'T. A.' Jennings in Johnson Co., MO on Feb. 5, 1857. Jane and T. A. had six children: Mable 'Maybelle' Jennings Summers, Clara Jennings Reno, William Q. Jennings, Ella Jennings Stewart, Minnie Jennings Conflans, and Edward F. Jennings.

"Died -- In Bronson, on Thursday morning, March 14th, '89, after a brief illness of inflamation, of the bowels, Mrs. Jane Jennings, wife of T. A. Jennings, aged 51 years 1 month and 22 days. Deceased leaves a husband and five children, two sons and three daughters, to mourn their loss. Funeral services will be held at the Baptist Church at 2 P.M. to day by Eld. Williams. after which the remains will be laid to rest in the Bronson Cemetery." [Bronson Pilot 3-15-1889.]
