Minnie was a daughter of Thomas Archer Jennings and Berlinda Bernetta Jane Bridges Jennings. Her siblings were Mable 'Maybelle' Jennings Summers, Clara Jennings Reno, William Q. Jennings, Ella Jennings Stewart, and Edward F. Jennings. Minnie's paternal grandparents were William H. Jennings and Sarah W. Wilkerson Jennings; her maternal grandparents were John Q. Bridges and Martha A. E. Rutherford Bridges. Minnie married Hilaere Eugene Conflans in Bronson, Bourbon Co., KS on December 17, 1890. "H. E." was born in France, immigrating to the United States @1877-1878. Minnie and H. E. were married only a brief time as she died on March 16, 1892.
"Whereas it has pleased the Supreme Intelligence to remove from our midst our beloved sister, Minnie Conflans, therefore be it Resolved, That Bronson Chapter No. 65 has lost one of its brightest lights, beloved by all, Resolved, That in token of our sorrow, the emblems of our Chapter be draped in mourning for thirty days. Resolved, That we tender to the husband and relatives of our deceased sister our heartfelt sympathy in this their sad bereavement, Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be furnished to the husband, be spread upon the minutes of the Chapter and a copy furnished our city paper for publication.
