Myra was the ninth child of Napoleon and Alice Theodocia McAdams Wilson. She was the baby of the family. She was born in Orla, Reeves County, Texas where her parents was homesteading land. The family moved back to Walker County, Texas where she was raised. Myra worked as a telephone operator. She married James Cummings April 16, 1937 in Baytown, Harris, Texas. They had two children Bertie Anne and James Glenn. The lived in Baytown until Myra got sick. Myra and Jim moved to Paragould, Greene, Arkansas and Jim live with his daughter Anne and her husband. Myra was put into a nursing home. Jim died Feb 21, 1997 and Myra died April 16m 1997. Both were buried in the McAdams family cemetery.
