Abigail Parker Kennedy was the wife of Joseph Kennedy, daughter of Elder Daniel Parker and Martha 'Patsy' Dixon Parker. Abigail and Joseph are buried in Pilgrim Cemetery near Elkhart, Texas. Five of their six known children were born in Illinois, John in 1828, Martha 'Patsy' in 1829 (married R.H. Harper), Daniel in 1834, Joseph in 1837, Elizabeth in 1839 (married a Stallcup), and Thomas was born in Texas in 1842.
