A Lapeer County man died at 12:00 AM today in St. Joseph Hospital here of imjuries received when his automobile crashed in the rear of another car in Genesee County at 8:45 PM Tuesday. Dead is Milton A. Cross, 60, of 5393 Davison Rd. near Lapeer. The collision was at Davison and Baxter Rds according to Edwin Boyce, Davison Township Chief of Police. Boyce said both cars were east bound on Davison Rd and the other driver Stewart Bennett, stopped to make a left turn at the bottom of the hill. Cross's car came over the hill and stuck Bennett's car, Boyce said.

Milton A. Cross, 5593 Davison Rd, Lapeer, Michigan, age 60, died Wednesday, September 28, 1966 at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be heil at 1:30 PM Friday, September 30, 1966, at the Crystal Chapel, Swartz Funeral Home. Rev. Norman Farver officiating. Burial in Davison Cemetery. Mr. Cross will rest at the Funeral Home. Death was due to complications following an auto accident. Mr. Cross was born in Nicholville, New York, on April 22, 1906, living in Elba Township the last 27 years, coming from Davison Township. He retired from Buick Motor Division on May 1, 1966, after 40 years of service. Surviving are: Wife Madeline, 4 sons, James and Joseph both of Lapeer, Robert at home, John of Flint; daughter Mrs. Ronald Thurlow of Lapeer, 7 grandchildrer, 2 brothers, Wendall of Otisville, Paul of Flint, several neices and nephews .
