A retired employee of East Louisiana State Hospital in Jackson and a resident of Jackson, she died at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. She was 76. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Darwin Hall. She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Russell Bendily of Jackson, Oscar L. Bendily of Spillman, and Jody and Irma Bendily of Jackson; two sisters, Mary Pryun and Leah Jasinski, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, Clarence Aime of Walker; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Randy Smith, Homer Ellis, Jimmy Coleman, Robert Fooshee, Brad Null and Danny Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Charles E. Weaver Jr., Walter L. Harwell, Thomas Wilkinson, Bill Levin, Dwyot Thornton Sr. and Bill Courtney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Cline" Bendily.
