Calise Aime Stafford died Wednesday, January 20, 1988, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 86, a native of Head of Island and resident of Baton Rouge.
Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, Thursday, until religious services Friday, conducted by the Rev. Charles Gwaltney. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Birdie and E.E. White, Jr., of Baton Rouge; five sisters, Elsie A. Lockhart of Lacombe, Mary A. Pruyn of Baton Rouge, Esther A. Byrd of Bogalusa, Margaret A. Bendile of Jackson, and Leah A. Jasinski of Denham Springs; three brothers, George Aime of Denham Springs, Clarence Aime of Corbin, and Thomas Aime of Holden; a grandson, David D. White; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by husband, Emile Stafford.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Baton Rouge.
Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church Refurbishing Fund.
