Died 9 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 1987, at Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital. She was 84, a native of Head of Island and resident of Walker. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 8 a.m. until religious services 2:30 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. H.B. Wilkinson and the Rev. Kenny Bankston. Burial in Palmetto Cemetery, Walker.

Survived by two daughters, Thorena Barksdale and Wilma Williams, both of Walker; a son, H.E. "Buddy" Montgomery, Walker; six sisters, Leah Jasinski, Denham Springs, Elsie Lockhart, LeCombe, Esther Byrd, Bogalusa, Margaret Bendily, Jackson, Calise Stafford and Mary Pruyn, both of Baton Rouge; three brothers, George Aime, Denham Springs, Clarence Aime, Walker, and Thomas Aime, Holden; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Marcelite Aime; husband, Mitchell August Montgomery; a daughter, Katie Elizabeth Montgomery; a sister, Georgia Reichert; and three brothers, Willie, Octive and Leopold Aime.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. She was a member of Walker Baptist Church.
