Obituary - Eddie took her final peaceful breath surrounded by family April 11th 2010 at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful Utah. Eddie was born July 1, 1923 in the small town of Bicknell, Utah, one of 11 born to Sidney and Ellen Rymer.
Eddie moved to Salt Lake City where she met her true love Jack Andersen. They wed in Fairbanks Alaska in 1950. Where they were blessed with their first child. The small family then moved to Woods Cross, Utah in 1953. They built their home and welcomed 4 more little angels to their life and completed their family.
Eddie was a devout member of the LDS church, Woods Cross 2nd Ward. She was very close to her faith and at peace with her heavenly father at the end of her journey.
Eddie is preceded in death by her father, mother, 8 siblings, her loving husband, her grandson Chad, and great granddaughter, Tier. Survived by her children James (Diana) Andersen, Bruce Andersen, Gaelee Andersen, JoAnn Zaker and Joyce DeVore; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grand children; her brother Kay and sister Zola.
Those who had the honor of knowing Eddie can appreciate her kind heart and feisty nature that remained until the very end. A special thanks to hospice, whose attentive nature and helping hand made the process more bearable. To Sherry Westergard for being by Eddie's side for 53 years and to the numerous friends and family who showed their love.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Woods Cross 2nd Ward, 1500 South 800 West. To honor Eddie a gathering will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Thursday 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
