World War II: Charles Head served in US Navy, George Head served in US Army, received Purple Heart for injures.

Rev. Christopher Columbus Wright and Emily Jane (Dickerson) Wright named their sixth born child Sulie Armethia Wright. She was known throughout life affectionately as "Mittie" to family and friends. Mittie Wright Bosworth is the name engraved on her beautiful red granite headstone. Mittie grew up in a large family of nine children. Her brothers were Cull, Arthur, Price, Jim, and Royal Wright. Her sisters were Martha, Emily, and Auta Bell Wright.

Mittie Wright married Henry Hearl Head in 1912. They became the parents of eight children: Lorene, Olive, George Hearl, Emily, Christine, Doris, Josie, and Charles. Henry Hearl Head passed away on March 2, 1945. He was buried near family in McRae Cemetery, San Augustine County, Texas.

Mittie later married Johnnny "J.W." Bosworth. Mittie Bosworth was 86 years of age when she passed away in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas. Mittie was laid to rest at Wood Cemetery, San Augustine County, Texas. Johnny Bosworth facts including death and burial are unknown.

1. Lorene Head: b 1913 San Augustine County, Texas - September 10, 1975 Houston, Harris County, Texas.

2. Olive Head: b January 23, 1916 Texas - d March 26, 2004 Texas, a daughter to Henry and Mittie Head, married William Francis Bronsell, Jr. (b Aug 15, 1911 Hope, Homestead County, Arkansas - d Oct 14, 1973 Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas); both Sunset Memorial Park, Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas. Mittie's Grandson, William and Olive's son, Stephen Bert Bronsell (b 1949 - d 1998) was laid to rest in Wood Cemetery. His distinctive headstone is lovely, with a dove carrying a branch denoting peacefulness. Stephen's headstone reads: Grandson of Mittie Bosworth.

3. George Hearl Head: b December 25, 1917 Texas - d August 29, 1995 San Augustine County, Texas. Eldest of two sons born to Henry and Mittie Head. Married Marie Loocke. Marie Loocke: b February 26, 1920 - d February 17, 1997 Texas. Both Wood Cemetery, San Augustine County, Texas.

4. Christene Head: b January 9, 1923 San Augustine County, Texas - d September 4, 2015 Texas. Married James "Jim" Modrell Waits: b January 28, 1922 Texas - d June 23, 1958 Houston, Texas. Both Woodlawn Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.

5. Doris Esther (Head) Butzow: b March 8, 1925 Texas - d December 12, 1986 Houston, Harris County, Texas. Married Mr. Butzow. Wood Cemetery, San Augustine County, Texas.

6. Jocie Macie (Head) Stevens: b August 26, 1926 San Augustine County, Texas - d December 7, 2016 Houston, Harris County, Texas. Married Rev. Eldred Nicklis Stevens. Eldred Stevens: b September 1, 1921 Fordtran, Victoria County, Texas - d February 20, 1979 Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. Both Hebron Cemetery, Terryville, Dewitt County, Texas.

7. Charles Beeman Head: b March 3, 1928 Texas - Feruary 16, 1975 Galveston, Galveston, Texas. Charles Head was the youngest child born to Henry and Mittie Head. Married Mary Lee Viviano. Both Brookside Memorial Park, Houston, Harris County, Texas.
