Dora was the third born of ten children born to William Henry Davis and Prudence Cothern Davis. In 1888 she married William Redman. Seven children were born to this union. She was proceeded in death by both her parents William Henry and Prudence Davis; her sisters Nancy, Sarah, Susan, and Henrietta Irene; and by her brother William. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband William "Wall"; her sons William Jr, Wibur, Frankie, Teddie, her daughters Bessie, Prudence, and Janie, her husband William; her sisters Leath, Hattie, and Annie, and her brother Frank; and aunts, Uncles cousins, and friends.
