Converse County, Wyoming mortuary records show Leon was born Oct. 15, 1897; (marker shows 1898.) He died Dec. 7, 1936 in the Douglas, Wyoming hospital. His obituary in the Douglas Enterprise Dec. 8, 1936, shows Mr. Asay was section foreman at Lockett, C.B. & Q station, a short distance east of Parkerton. He leaves a widow and eight children, the oldest child is said to be only 14. (Information was provided by Betty Alberts, FAG Member #47293729.)
