Eugene J. Flower died Friday from injuries inflicted when he was dragged by a team while plowing a few days earlier in the week. Mr. Flower was 65 years of age and was born in Fort Wayne, Ind. At the age of 4 he moved with his parents to Lincoln County, Neb., living there until 16 years of age, when he moved to Indianola. There he was married to Sarah M. Hanger December 25, 1889. To this union were born 15 children, 13 of whom, together with his wife, survive.
The children are: Mrs. Florence Savage of Wellfleet, Neb., Lorene Flower of Hershey, Neb., Mrs. Elizabeth Massingale of Hugo, Colo., Mrs. W.B. Walker and Elmer Flower of Ola, Arthur of Midvale, Ernest of Potlatch, Mrs. Blanche Berlinoff of Lewiston, Mrs. Agnes Holbrook, Mrs.Cora Mills, Mrs. Erma Nitzel, Mrs. Marie Pitman and Miss Wanda Flower, all of Emmett.
In addition to these are 40 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Previous to coming to Emmett a few years ago, he was a resident of Ola.
The funeral was held Tuesday from the Nazarene Church and burial was in Riverside cemetery,
