Mrs. Maudie R. Ferrell, 76, 308 Broadway, Rogersville, died Saturday, March 8, 1984, at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital
She was a member of Cobb's Chapel Baptist Church, and the widow of Harve Ferrell, who died February 7, 1984.
Surviving, are six daughters, Mrs. Sherman (Jane) Trent, Mrs. Doyle (Charsie) Lamb, Mrs. Fay Burton, all of Sneedville, Mrs. Clay (Mary) Bowlin, Mrs. Margie Lamb and Mrs. Lloyd (Sue) Manis, all of Rogersville; three sons, Herbert and Kelsie Ferrell, both of Sneedville, and Paul Ferrell of Rogersville; 35 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. G.W. (Dorothy) Lawson, Rogersville; and a brother, Willard Russell of Rogersville.
Services were held Tuesday afternoon at Cobb's Chapel Baptist Church with the Revs. Earl Bowling and Lester Greene officiating. Burial was in the Trent Cemetery.
