Margie Marie Ferrell Lamb
Margie Marie Ferrell Lamb, 76, born September 17, 1937, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was saved at Cobb's Chapel Church at a young age and later joined Pond Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Maude Ferrell; son, Billy C. Lamb; sisters, Jane Trent, Charlslie Lamb and Mary Bowlin; brothers, Herbert Ferrell and Paul Ferrell.
She is survived by her sons, Terry and wife Jeanna Lamb, and Tim Lamb of Rogersville; grandchildren, Jason Lamb and wife Lesley of Rogersville, and Terra Lamb of Rogersville; great grandchildren, Leah, Allison and Alexis Lamb of Rogersville; sisters, Faye Burton of Sneedville, and Sue Manis and husband Lloyd of Rogersville; brother, Kelsie Ferrell of Eidson; and former husband, Clifford Lamb of Church Hill. Also, many wonderful nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and friends whom she loved very much.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Willard Wilder and Rev. Carl Dalton officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, August 15, 2014 at Pond Hill Cemetery.
