James Kelly Stegall, a longtime Crosbyton resident, was claimed by death about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Crosbyton Nursing Home after suffering an apparent heart seizure.
Although he had been in failing health, Mr. Stegall´s death was unexpected. He was 82.
Services were pending at press time Wednesday afternoon with King Funeral Home.
Mr. and Mrs. Stegall had made their home in recent months at Crosbyton Nursing Home.
Survivors include the widow, Nora; three sons, Irvin, Norris and Kenneth, all of Crosbyton; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Gregory of Lorenzo and Mrs. Warren Jackson of Amarillo; one brother, George Stegall; 11 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
