The ashes of Steven Matthew Osborn, 15, of Dearborn were buried in Pilgrim Home Cemetery, March 30, 1978, following memorial services in Greenfield Congregational Church, Dearborn, on March 17.
Steven, who was born in Holland, Michigan, drowned in Stout Junior High School swimming pool on March 14. He was co-captain of the swimming team and was discovered dead in the pool 15 minutes after swimming practice had ended. The Osborn family are residents of Macatata, Michigan as well as Dearborn, Michigan.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Osborn; his grandmother, Mrs. Percy (Minnie) Osborn, a resident of Holland, Michigan from 1903 - 1977; two brothers, Charles and James Osborn and one sister, Carol Osborn.
