HELENA SCHNUELLE
Funeral services for the late Mrs. August Schnuelle were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the St. Peters Reformed church at Kiel, and interment was made in the Rockville cemetery; the Rev. O Saewert officiating. The sad news of her death came as a complete shock, as she had been in good health until two weeks ago, when she was suddenly taken ill. She died early Friday morning. Her death was due to complications of a stroke which resulted in heart failure.
Mrs. August Schnuelle, nee Lena Balz, was born in the town of Schleswig.
She attained the age of 59 years, and is survived by her husband and 5 children, viz: Mrs. Arthur Raquet of Sheboygan; Edward Schnuelle, Grafton; Rueben, Howard and Hattie at home. Three grandchildren survive here; Helen and Gertrude Raquet and Edward Lloyd Schnuelle. She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Fred Fluhr, Mrs. John Boege, Mrs. Carl Petzoldt, all of Kiel; two brothers. Nic. Balz of Kiel and John Balz of the town of Schleswig.
The grief-stricken family has the sympathy of the community in their bereavement.
