Loye E. Stansell, 64, of San Bernardino, Calif., formerly of Wharton, Ark., died February 1 at San Antonia Hospital in Upland, Calif. He was employed by the James White Oil Company of Ontario. He was born at Talihina, Okla., April 12, 1912, the son of J. N. and Nancy Bolinger Stansell. He was a resident of Ontario from 1936-1956, and a former member of the Ontario Elks Club. He had lived in San Bernardino for the past 20 years.

Survivors are his wife, Lucy Yingst Stansell, of the home; one son, Norman, of Carlsbad, Calif.; one daughter, Miss Realene Stansell of Bishop, Calif.; five grandchildren; five brothers, Lee and Cread of Hindsville; Leonard of Huntsville; Oren and Dee of Valley Falls, Kansas; and one sister, Gladys Vanhook of Springdale.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. February 4 at Draper Memorial Chapel in Ontario, with Rev. Cass Schreib officiating. Interment was in the Bellevue Cemetery in Ontario.

Pallbearers were Offie Dotson, Floyd Frisby, Raymond Grant, Bob Grant, Raymond Stanphill and Reuben Lyman.
