She was born the daughter of L.B. and Bertha (Bridwell) Brown on December 28, 1908 in Knox County, MO. She was a member of the Memphis First Christian Church.
On February 26, 1925, she married Arthur Ray Henry in Bible Grove, MO. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1969.
She is survived by a brother, Jim and wife Grace Brown of Memphis; four grandchildren, Beverly and husband Pat Young of Overland Park, KS, Randy and wife Cindy Henry of Leavenworth, KS, Melissa and husband Richard Filbert of Tecumseh, OK, and Mark Pender of Memphis, MO; great grandchildren, Korey Hollrah and Richard Filbert III of Tecumseh, Christine Rose Henry and Brian Stephens of Leavenworth, KS, and Mark Pender Jr. of Memphis.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Kenneth in 1952 and Dick in 1993.
Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m., on Monday, August 6, 2001 at the Gerth Funeral Chapel in Memphis with Brother Jack Sumption officiating. Interment was in the Memphis Cemetery. Visitation was an hour before the service.
