Isaac Newton “Brownie” Brown, 71, a 40-year resident of San Bernardino, California, died January 21, 1986.

Born August 8, 1914, in Baring, Missouri. He was married to Alberta Florene Clemenger in 1944 who passed away in 1967.

He was in the military service from 1942 to 1945, was a Sergeant and a Crew Chef on a B-25 bomber. His medals included Sharp Shooter, Thompson Machine Gun, Good Conduct, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign medal. He was a member of the Labor Union Local No. 786, San Bernardino from 1950 and retired in 1974, the American Legion Post No. 777 and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 476.

Survivors include a daughter, Alberta Gershwin; step-daughter, Lorene Estermyer; two granddaughters, Sheri Martin and Debbie Gershwin; two step-sons, Mark and Tim Estermyer, all of San Bernardino; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Henry and Mrs. Daisy Clark, Memphis; three brothers, Dave Brown, Baring, Alfred Brown, Gorin, and Carl Brown, Centerville, Iowa.

Preceding him in death were his father and mother, Lafayette and Bertha Brown; two sisters, Elsie Rowlison, Dona Davis; two brothers, Ellis Brown, and Raymond Brown.

He was entered into rest at Mt. View Cemetery, San Bernardino.
