Funeral services for Leldon C. Roberts, 41, 602 Carridale St. SW, who died Thursday afternoon at the Floyd County Hospital, Rome, Ga.; will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, Revs. Edwin Hodges and Wilbur Smallwood officiating, with burial in Johnson’s Chapel Cemetery, Guntharp Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Shodcia Leigh Roberts, Akron, Ohio; mother, Mrs. Martha Roberts, Cullman; six sisters, Mrs. Roy Smith, Decatur; Mrs. Norman Sparkman, Decatur; Mrs. Lewis Walker, Decatur; Mrs. Vera Mae Manley, Decatur; Mrs Rogers Marshall, Gary, Ind; Mrs. Sam Potiel, New York City; and a brother, Luther B. Roberts, Hartselle.
The body will remain at the residence until an hour before services where it will lie in state at the church.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
